History
Sisak-Moslavina County began using this flag around 1995 after the county was re-established following Croatia’s independence. The design features Croatian red and white at the edge, blue for the region’s rivers and sky, and the county coat of arms as its central emblem. It has been widely used as the county’s de facto flag despite not receiving formal approval from the Ministry of Justice and Administration.
