The flag of Zadar County features a blue field with a white wavy band across the upper portion and the county coat of arms centered.
Zadar County adopted this flag on 18 June 1998 as part of the modern county’s official symbols. The blue field represents the Adriatic Sea and sky, while the wavy white division evokes sea waves. The coat of arms shows the 9th-century Church of the Holy Cross at Nin on a blue field, with an olive branch in the white chief representing peace and the region’s olive cultivation.
