History
The flag of Töv Aymag is used by the Mongolian province surrounding the national capital. It emerged in the early 1990s as Mongolia’s aimags adopted distinctive provincial banners in the post-communist period. Real-world usage commonly shows the flag in a 1:2 ratio with the emblem centered on the field, and some ceremonial versions have also been shown with ornament near the hoist.
