History
The flag of Talas Province was adopted on 8 August 1998 by decision of the Talas Regional Kenesh. It was designed by Osmanaliev Zaynidin. The design is described as a sky-blue field with a golden central emblem incorporating a stylized sun, a Kyrgyz tunduk, three mountain peaks, and wheat ears symbolizing agriculture and unity; a later redesign retained the same symbolic composition in refreshed form.
