History
The flag of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship was adopted in 2000 as part of the restoration of regional symbols in post-communist Poland. It uses traditional Polish colors and displays the voivodeship’s coat of arms. The coat of arms combines references to the Holy Cross Monastery and the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, the Polish white eagle, and the historic symbolism of the Sandomierz region.
