History
The flag of Sark combines the St George’s Cross with two lions derived from the arms of Normandy, representing the island’s links to England and its Norman heritage. A similar design was used informally from the early 1970s and also served as the personal flag of the Seigneur. It was formally recognised and registered as the official flag of Sark in 2020.
