Redesign of Iraq by u/Assyrian_Nation

According to the provided research memo, this redesign by Reddit user u/Assyrian_Nation was presented as a multicultural alternative to Iraq’s existing flag symbolism. The memo states that the design was intended to move away from Ba’ath-era stars and to reference Arab unity, Kurdish identity, and Assyrian heritage in an inclusive national concept. The classic Iraqi red-white-black tricolour was part of the stated concept in the memo, though the provided image shows a different blue-white-blue arrangement with a red hoist triangle and white eight-pointed star.
