History
The flag of the Pomeranian Voivodeship is a modern regional flag of Poland adopted in the early 2000s. Its griffin derives from the historic heraldry of Pomerania and from the emblem long associated with the medieval House of Griffin, used since the 12th century as a symbol of the region.
