Vojvodina

Vojvodina uses two official flags of equal status. The official flag was adopted in 2004 and displays a red-blue-white tricolour with three yellow stars representing Bačka, Banat, and Srem, while also expressing a European orientation. A traditional version adopted in 2016 replaces the stars with the province’s coat of arms. Earlier Vojvodinian flags appeared in 1848 during Serbian Vojvodina, and the province was also associated in the 1990s with an unofficial green-blue-yellow design.
