History
The flag of Jutland is an unofficial regional banner designed by Danish graphic artist Per Kramer in 1975. It was proposed in the 1970s and uses the Nordic-cross format associated with the Scandinavian flag tradition. It has not gained official status or broad adoption, but it is occasionally displayed in local contexts. Its colors are interpreted as blue for the surrounding seas and sky, green for the peninsula’s fertile land and forests, and red as a reference to the Danish Dannebrog.
