Flag of Gozo featuring a white field with the island’s coat of arms centered, topped by a gold mural crown.
The flag of Gozo uses Malta’s national colors in a vertical white-and-red bicolour design and places the coat of arms of Gozo at the center to mark the island’s distinct identity within the Maltese archipelago. The shield incorporates a red-and-white chequered Gozitan pattern, a golden lion passant associated with medieval ties to the Crown of Aragon, and a silver mural crown denoting municipal status. The design was formally adopted in 2004 by the Gozo Regional Committee after earlier informal use.
