History
The flag of Hajdú-Bihar megye uses a white field with the county coat of arms placed at the center. The arms connect the banner to the county’s local heritage, with red and green recalling the historic colors of the former Hajdú and Bihar territories and the broader national palette of Hungary. The wheat-ear motif symbolizes agricultural wealth, and the white field represents peace and unity.
