History
The flag represents the Province of Chiriquí in Panama. Its design was created by Shadowxfox and was officially adopted on 5 September 2012. The fourteen white stars symbolize Panama’s fourteen provinces. The green field represents agricultural richness and natural fertility, while the red diagonal recalls blood shed for the province’s identity and the volcanic vitality of the region.
