History
Acquaviva is one of the nine castelli of the Republic of San Marino. Its civic flag is a white field charged with the municipality’s coat of arms and was formally adopted in the early 2000s as part of a broader codification of municipal symbols in San Marino. The emblem refers to local fortifications and to the springs historically associated with the place name Acquaviva.
