Flag of the Klaipėda Region with two horizontal bands, yellow over red, and the regional coat of arms in the upper hoist.
The flag was used for the Klaipėda Region during the post-World War I period from 1919 to 1923, when the territory was under League of Nations protection. Its design consists of yellow above red with the historic Klaipėda coat of arms at the hoist. The arms derive from medieval city seals and depict three castle towers behind a wall, the central tower bearing the cross of the Teutonic Order, with a stylized wave representing the Baltic Sea. The flag remained visually linked to the region’s German-Prussian heritage until the 1923 Klaipėda Revolt brought the territory under Lithuanian administration.
