Flag of Ömnögovi Aimag, Mongolia, with a blue upper field, an orange lower stripe, and the provincial coat of arms near the hoist.
The flag of Ömnögovi Aimag was formally adopted on 17 March 2011 by Decision No. 17 of the Aimag Khural. Its blue upper field symbolizes the vast clear sky and open Gobi steppe, while the orange lower band represents desert sands and the province’s mineral wealth. The design places the provincial coat of arms in the hoist-side part of the blue field and uses a 1:2 ratio.
