Suratthani provincial flag

Suratthani province uses a provincial flag with a simple horizontal bicolor and the provincial seal at the center. The current version has been used since after 2012 in a 3:5 format. The seal depicts the Phra Boromathat Chaiya Chedi, a stupa associated with the province’s ancient Buddhist heritage and reported to date to the 9th century. Earlier versions included a 2:3 flag described in 2000 with a reddish-orange over yellow field and a blue rendering of the seal, as well as an older provincial flag based on the national flag of Thailand with the provincial seal centered.
