History

The municipal flag of Laarbeek was adopted on 23 June 1998 after the merger of the former municipalities of Aarle-Rixtel, Beek en Donk, and Lieshout. Its blue, red, green, and white colours were chosen because each appears at least twice in the historic flags of those predecessor municipalities, expressing their shared heritage and unity within the new municipality in North Brabant.
