History
Kamphaeng Phet is a province of Thailand. Its provincial flag uses the official seal at the center. The seal depicts the historic “diamond wall” associated with the province’s name and includes a white elephant, symbolizing the province’s historic role as a frontier stronghold and the royal animal of old Siam. The red background symbolizes bravery and the vitality of the local people, while the gold emblem represents prosperity and cultural heritage. The design was formally adopted on 26 January 2025.
