History
The Isle of Portland flag is a community flag adopted on 14 April 2010 and certified by the Flag Institute. Its colours represent Portland stone, grass, and the surrounding sea. The white tower refers to the island’s historic castles, while the naval coronet marks Portland’s longstanding connection with the Royal Navy.
