History
The flag of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County uses a plain field with the county coat of arms as its central charge. The design was officially adopted in the early 1990s after the post-communist re-establishment of the historic county boundaries. The arms symbolize the county’s cultural and geographical composition, including the Jász and Kun traditions and the Tisza River.
