Trentino-South Tyrol

The flag of Trentino-South Tyrol is a 2:3 white-and-blue bicolor with the regional coat of arms at the center. The quartered shield combines the Eagle of Saint Venceslao for Trentino in the first and fourth quarters with the Tyrolean red eagle for South Tyrol in the second and third. Adopted on 12 June 1975, the design reflects the historic colors of the two provinces and the enduring identities of Trentino and South Tyrol, with heraldic traditions linked to Tyrolean and Holy Roman Empire history.
