History
Oregon’s flag was adopted on February 26, 1925. It uses navy blue and gold, the state colors. The obverse bears the state seal, the words “State of Oregon,” and the year 1859, with 33 stars representing Oregon as the 33rd state admitted to the Union. The reverse shows a gold beaver, making Oregon the only U.S. state flag with different designs on each side.
