History
The flag of Dornogovi Aimag was adopted in 2011. Its 2:3 design uses blue for the sky and peace, gold for the desert sands and wealth, and green for life in the Gobi landscape. The central emblem includes a white Bactrian camel for nomadic heritage, a rising yellow sun with twelve rays for prosperity and the future, and a red flame-like D motif referring to Dornogovi and the historic idea of Dornog as the door of the Gobi.
