Flag of Lampang Province, Thailand, featuring a green-blue field with the provincial seal centered and white Thai script below.
Lampang’s provincial flag uses a solid green-blue field with the provincial seal centered in a 3:5 ratio. The seal depicts a white rooster inside the mandapa of Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. The rooster refers to Lampang’s nickname, “the city of the rooster,” and symbolizes vigilance and prosperity, while the mandapa represents the province’s most revered Buddhist monument. The design belongs to Thailand’s provincial-flag scheme introduced in 1942, and the field color was later specified in 2000 as a slightly bluish green rather than plain blue.
