History
The flag of Gyeonggi Province uses a 3:2 proportion. Its current logo was introduced in April 2021, replacing the 2005 design after sixteen years. The central mark is designed to evoke the Korean initial phonemes ㄱ, ㄱ, and ㄷ for Gyeonggi-do, while also integrating the English initial G. The green and blue colors symbolize harmony between nature and future-oriented direction.
