History
Zala County uses a flag with its historic county coat of arms centered on a blue and silver field. The current blue-and-silver color scheme was adopted in 2010, replacing an earlier red-green-white palette while keeping the basic heraldic arrangement. The coat of arms dates to a grant in 1550, and the modern county flag was originally introduced in 1990.
