Central Bosnia

The flag of Central Bosnia Canton was adopted in 1996 after the canton’s establishment following the Dayton Peace Agreement. It uses a plain white field with the cantonal coat of arms in the center. The coat of arms features a blue shield with a stylized white river between three green hills and a golden fleur-de-lis, a historic Bosnian symbol associated with the medieval Bosnian state; the hills and river represent the canton’s mountainous terrain and waterways.
