History

The flag of Perlis is the state flag of Perlis in Malaysia. It consists of two equal horizontal bands of yellow and dark blue in a 1:2 proportion, though a historical 2:3 variant is also known. Yellow represents the Raja of Perlis, while blue represents the people, with the upper yellow band expressing the close relationship between the monarch and the people.
