A green flag with three white crescents arranged in a triangular formation, two above and one below.
This maritime flag is associated with the Regency of Tripoli in the 18th century during the Karamanli era, when the regency was a semi-autonomous Ottoman province. It served as a naval ensign for Tripolitanian vessels in the Mediterranean and appeared in later charts of national emblems and maritime flag references. The three crescents were linked with Islamic symbolism and the regency’s ruling authority.
