White flag with a blue Greek cross at the center and orange Greek lettering above and below.
The Mani flag is a regional historical flag of the Mani peninsula in Greece. It emerged during the Greek War of Independence in the early 1820s, when Maniot forces used it as a distinct emblem. The cross reflects the region’s Orthodox Christian identity, and the flag has remained associated with Mani’s cultural memory and tradition of autonomous martial self-rule.
