Komi

The flag of the Komi Republic is a horizontal tricolour of blue, green, and white. It was adopted in 1954 in an earlier 1:2 form and later reaffirmed in republican law with a 2:3 proportion. The design has been associated with Valentin Petrovich Viktorov. Its colors symbolize the northern sky, the taiga and natural abundance, and the snowy landscape, purity, and northern character of the region.
