The flag of Kelantan is a red field with a white central emblem showing a crescent, a five-pointed star, two spears, and two unsheathed krises.
Kelantan adopted this flag in 1924. Its central white charge is derived from the state coat of arms and includes a crescent, five-pointed star, spears, and unsheathed krises. The red field represents the honesty and integrity of the state's settlers, citizens, and ruler, while the white emblem signifies the sanctity and authority of the Sultan. The crescent reflects the Islamic faith. The design replaced an earlier 1912–1923 flag and later settled into the simplified silhouette form used today.
