Central Sulawesi

The flag of Central Sulawesi uses a white field to denote purity and peace, with the provincial coat of arms centered as the main symbol. The emblem is conceived in a stylized heart form representing the heart of the people. Its elements symbolize the province’s identity: blue waves for the surrounding seas, green fields and a rising golden mountain for fertile land and volcanic landscape, rice stalks for agriculture and prosperity, and a gold star for aspiration and unity. The design was formally adopted by provincial decree in the early 2000s as a distinct provincial symbol.
