History
The flag of Telšiai County was officially adopted in 2004 by the Lithuanian Heraldic Commission. Its symbolism is tied to the historic Samogitian region, with the double cross and pine tree used in the county’s coat of arms as references to regional identity; white symbolizes peace and purity, red bravery, and green the forested landscape of the county.
