This is one of the 1929 flag proposals for Palestine designed by Munir Dakak from Jerusalem. The flag features three horizontal stripes (black, green, and white) with a red triangle on the hoist side. Inside the triangle, there is an illustration of an orange — a reference to the iconic Jaffa orange, a symbol of Palestinian agriculture and identity. Widely cultivated in the region, especially around the city of Jaffa, this orange became a cultural emblem of Palestinian prosperity and connection to the land. This design reflects both national pride and deep ties to the country's agricultural heritage during the British Mandate period.
