Chinese: 八省聯合, Each character is an abbreviation of the name of one of the League's constituent provinces. Clockwise from the top, these are: 浙 (Zhè): Zhejiang, 閩 (Mǐn): Fujian, 蘇 (Sū): Jiangsu, 桂 (Guì): Guangxi, 湘 (Xiāng): Hunan, 粵 (Yuè): Guangdong, 贑 (Gàn): Jiangxi, and 皖 (Wǎn): Anhui.
