Canada Proposal Flag "Pearson Pennant"

During the Great Canadian flag debate of 1963-64 one of the designs was this, created by Alan Beddoe named the Pearson Pennant as the Prime Minister of Canada at the time was Lester B. Pearson love this design. Honestly, I like it more then the current flag. Don't know if that's an unpopular opinion.
