Boerne, Texas, has introduced its first official city flag, now flying outside City Hall, in a move city officials say is aimed at strengthening local identity and fostering civic pride, reports the San Antonio Express News. The new flag features Boerne’s official logo — a stylized live oak tree sprouting from a bold “B” — set against a white background. Beneath it, curved navy bands represent the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country. According to city spokesperson Chris Shadrock, who proposed the project, the design reflects both Boerne’s natural landscape and the city’s evolving identity.
