Avellaneda Municipality, Buenos Aires Province

Flag created in a project named "Yo quiero a mi Bandera" (I love my flag) by Juan Ignacio Iglesias, a student from Sara Eccleston School All localities from the Municipality are represented each by a 4-pointed blue star, the blue color representing the Rio de la Plata and the green color representing the parks and ecological policies. The symbol from the center represents each a different characteristic from the municipality, the port, the industry, sports (mainly football/soccer), and the comedy masks represent both arts and the past and present talking to each other to build a future.
